Sharon Kelly: Visiting Instructor

Sharon Kelly is a Visiting Instructor in the Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Program at the University of Pittsburgh.  She earned her PhD at West Virginia University, where she researched non-normative sexuality and spiritualism in late-Victorian literature.  Her other interests include queer theory, the history of sexuality, the rhetorics of gender, intersectional feminism, scifi and fantasy literature, and geek / pop culture.  She has presented her research at the Northeast Modern Language Association conference (NeMLA), Victorians Institute, British Women Writers Conference, Queer Studies Conference, and the International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts (IAFA).
