Lynne Layton Internship Award applications open through September 16

The Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Program is excited to open the Lynne Layton Internship Award applications for Fall of 2019.  This award offers support for students who are engaged in the study of women, gender, and sexuality, and are interested in working with Pittsburgh non-profit organizations that offer community support and engagement opportunities in the field of GSWS. Internship sites will vary and will be arranged through the GSWS program.

This award is available for Fall 2019 and is supported by a stipend of $1,500 (paid in two installments). Interns will be expected to complete a minimum of 6 hours of service per week, to meet with a faculty mentor, and to present at an internship workshop.
